Hi, Unfortunately most probably it's not a software issue but the contact pins of the earpiece speaker have a bad contact to the motherboard. The only solution is to disassemble your phone and adjust those pins to make them contact properly with the motherboard. Even if you can do it, disassembling your phone would void your warranty, so I recommend you to contact your seller for a solution.

i don't mind the changes, but I tend to agree with tetrys that if its not Stock Android, it should not be advertised as Stock Android.  I would have bought it anyway and I like it.  but its technically false advertising

Hello my umidigi f1 is working great but i find these 2 bugs
1: favorites on speed dial keeps erasing since the last 2 updates before that didnt happen,

2: multitasking doesnt work like it should and its a problem because if im on a bank app and try to see another app when ingo back it closes because the app reloads when I changed from one app to another

Front face camera not working properly it is mirroring the image and yes i already tried different camera applications, so it's the rom not just the camera software

Hello bencebacsi, I heard that on the (EU) version of the F1 the home button has a Google Assistant animation when pressed, why doesn't Umidigi also have this on the global version. This should be also added in the next global version please.Thanks.

So what's the verdict, is the update an actual upgrade or should we stick to the previous version?. I'm traveling at the moment so I haven't tried it, but the forced update actually caused my rooted phone to TWRP bootloop and got out of it with a little code passed to me over at XDA. I for once would be glad if there was an Nougat or Oreo downgrade so I could install the tools that have not been developed for Pie like Xposed and Gravitybox.

Is the F1 ever going to get security patches ? I am still on January 1 2019..
Camera is so grainy, overly shary, over saturated / unstaturated colors

There are so many issues with the F1

Memory is suppose to be 4gb. With nothing installed it uses around 2.6 to 2.9gb so there is not much left over for actual applications.
Not stock android.
Not really 4G LTE, more like hit or miss depending on where you are at. More like 3G with turbo.
he APN settings are very outdated and you have to go in and change to work with AT&T or T-Mobile.
Does not have E911 or Emergency Alerts settings.
The fingerprint reader is subpar for 2019. Only reads it about 25% of the time.

Have opened tickets with support but get NO response...

Yes, it would be possible to fix the camera and enable stabilization, why did they remove it from the settings?

HI UMIDIGI FORUM.
Please this is for the admin, i have been using the umidigi f1 for months now and am experiencing multitasking problems, where if i open one app and then open another one, when i return to the first app, it reloads as if i just opened it. this is very frustrating. This defeats the purpose of multitasking. Sometimes I am writing a comment or looking at info on a website and I go into another app. If I come back to that app a few minutes later, it tries to reload and I lose everything. Please make it so that apps stay in the same state and doesn't reload. thanks
