do you know why mtk engineer mode is missing in rom?

Hi,
You have two options.
1. The home button is a single circle in global ROMs but a double circle in EU ROMs.
2. Check your FOTA version in 'Settings --> System --> Advanced --> About phone --> Wireless Update' and match it with the ROM versions in the F1 ROM section here: https://community.umidigi.com/forum.php?mod=forumdisplay&fid=212
Both versions can work globally.

Nothing is different. EU resident retailers are allowed to sell only the EU version but as an end-user you can buy and use either version with the same functionality anywhere in the world.

That's a criterion of getting the certificates from Google to remove the engineermode.apk since that app hides possible security risks by letting you access sensitive system settings and data.

double circle and firmware matches with EU.

That's a criterion of getting the certificates from Google to remove the engineermode.apk since that app hides possible security risks by letting you access sensitive system settings and data.

If certificates from Google are received, then return engineermode.apk to the firmware.
