BELIEVE ME the second camera does absolutely nothing for the "bokeh" effect.... it's pure fake.... BUT the 2nd camera is detected by corresponding app to check it.... it means that IN THEORY it could be used to enable good portrait / bokeh shots, IF:
- the camera software would implement a calculation algorhythm to create and interprete a so called "dephth map" based on which the right software can calculate exactly at which depth (i.e. distance from lense) everything on that level must stay in focos, i.e. neat,
and all the rest behind, i.e. at bigger distance getting out of focus to obtain that DSLR like blurry effect.
the S2Pro does only a fake bokeh effect around area which you determine, you can chose more round or more oval shape, then everything outside that shape gets blurry.... THAT'S FAKE BOKEH / PORTRAIT.
SHAME ON UMIDIGI DEVELOPERS as they could quite easily implement such a software allowing to use the second lens correctly for that effect. check out on the net REAL portrait/bokeh photo shots made by, e.g. Iphone X, OnePlus 5 or 5T, Xiaomi Mi A1... to name
just a few.
