Probably some misunderstanding. UMI OS based phones cannot be rooted thanks to the Efuse partition protection system.

This non-rootable UMI-OS sucks... I keep getting aggressive ads (loud) from bloatware... I realized it was intended but dang that's not what I paid for.

Only think I can do is:

remove auto updates (from Play Store and Umidigi APP store)
Delete DATA and Cache and/or Updates from Apps being bundled with aggressive advertizements. It seems that Touchpad is one of the main offenders.

Shame on UMIDIGI. Wish the people who reviewed this on youtube notice this and point out this aggressive advertisement problem.
