Well, at the moment I'd settle for my phone being able to get past the TWRP recovery screen. But if I need SPFT to make it work, I'm afraid I've reached my limit on Windows 10.

Do you have any PC with Windows XP or vista?
Anyway you can install vcom driver and SPFT then follow SPFT instruction. All should be fine.
