S2 touch not working

Hello please help. My new Umi S2 v1 has no touch. First I tried to restart the phone and hold vol + then restart again. The touch started working again but only for a short time. Next I tried to flash the new firmware ver. 20171108_g20v57c2k_kw_s81 with SP Flash Tool but the touch still does not work!!! The new firmware upgrade worked successfully but still no touch.

What else can I try to fix the touch problem before sending the phone back for warranty?

Firstly please contact to seller and ask for solution.
Please use SPFT and use format + download option. Here is SPFT instruction

Also please use first firmware version if latest didn't work.
After format + download you need restore IMEI number with SN writer which is here

Unfortunately I suspecting hardware fault.

Thank you for the reply. I flashed firmware but touch still does not work. I have contacted the seller for RMA.

I did not need to restore the IMEI number after flash. I checked by connecting a mouse and dialing *#06#

Also I found that the instructions for restoring IMEI number are wrong. Step 9 comes up with a different screen to what is shown on the instructions. This is when I decided not to flash the IMEI and manually check the phone and it was ok.

Do you think I should still try format + download option? If so could you please update the IMEI restore guide for step 9 so that I don't make a mistake?

I checked SN writer and if you follow this guide all steps are exactly the same. In step 9 please wipe IMEI numbers and type in numbers from label.

Please check Wi-Fi on top bar and press ok
In next step press start and then you will get Wi-Fi auto generate so then please type IMEI 1 and IMEI 2 and press ok.
