You can't download an SPFT version firmware with Rootjoy, so that's a question what you did use? I tested the real SPFT ROMs earlier and the scatter filie is intact.
Unfortunately the sources provided in the ROM section has been removed. I'm trying to get and share them again. The 1.4 SPFT version will be available soon (I'm already uploading it) and the 1.5 just tomorrow.
So, the 1.5 SPFT version will be HERE below the 'Install with Flashtool:' tag.

Edited by Haagentis at 2015-10-18 19:55 \n\nThank you Bencebacsi, I'll try with this rom version.

Originaly, to unbrick my phone, I used the 1.4 version available in the download section (not rootjoy). But, after that my simcard wasn't recognized.

Edited by Haagentis at 2015-10-18 21:07 \n\nI've just flashed my phone again, using the SPFT version of the ROM 1.4. I used the "firmware upgrade" option, as you said.

Still, my SIM card isn't recognized. IMEI check (*#06#) gives invalid IMEIs.
I must have wiped my NVRAM when I flashed it for debricking the first time. Knowing that MTK Droid Tools doesn't work with 64 bits SOC, what should I do ?

Restoring IMEIs with the phone's engineer mode didn't help the first time. And I'm pretty sure I didn't damage the SIM and SD tray, as my microSD card is fully recognized.

flashed again, with the 1.5 ROM (SPFT version). No progress, the IMEI are still invalid, and my SIM card still isn't recognized.

Should I return the phone ?

Are you sure? Can't you see your SIM card in Settings/SIM management? If that's the case, then yes, you should return your phone to the reseller.

EXCELLENT NEWS ! I did a last flash, and I changed the SIM card (I received a new one today). AND IT WORKS. AT LAST.

Anyway, thanks for all your help, bencebacsi. You've been a precious adviser.

I'm glad to hear that. So finally you could retrieve your IMEI numbers too.
You're welcome.

I have had an Iron for about 3 months now and a week ago, for no reason, it stopped working. it wouldn´t switch on. I thought it was just the battery drained, but even after charging all night it wouldn´t switch on. I tried going into recovery but the recovery menu just flashed on and off for a second then wouldn´t do even that. According to the above i tried to flash with the flash tool but it showed a BROM ERROR and wouldm´t flash. Any suggestions? Thank you

Your first thought was probably right and your battery is totally exhausted but can't be charged for some reason. I suggest you to try another USB cable and adapter and wait for some minutes to get the cahrging signal. The best way to controll the charging process is to use a USB Charger Doctor, so you immediately can see if your phone drains some current from the charger or not.
