Hello everyone , I have my umi Iron by about 2 months . Lately and randomly while charging ( with phone switched on ) the umi iron hangs with the a black screen and backlit switched on. I have to hold down the power button for a few seconds to turn it off completely and back on again .
Has it ever happened to you ?
Then this issue seems to be a new kind of problem if you also tried another USB cable. I suggest you to upgrade the firmware of your phone to the latest version (even if you already run that) to discover if this issue is caused by a software or a hardware defection. If you can do that, better to flash your phone with SP Flash Tool, although the only available version is the 1.5 for that format.

Hi bencebacsi, I already update new rom 1.6
I have another information that could explain the problem, I had activated developer option on Device settings and I switched On "Stay Active" option (the device never go on stand-by during recharge).
I will disable it, I will check the issue and update you.
Yes, that might be a software issue that was hidden until now since probably just a very few users tried activate that function. I'm waiting for your report. Thanks in advance.
