If it didn't work after a factory format you can try this:

I'm not reponsible for any explosion, injuries, global war, etc.

There's a way to force your phone to use the mobile DATA connection:

Go to developer options and enable "agressive WiFi to cellular handover";
you can well enable the "celular data always active", but it will make your
phone a bit power hungry...

How to enable developer mode:
go to settings->About phone and touch few times on the build number

how to disable it:
after you open developer options in settings there's a big on switch, just turn it off...

Hello, I'm still getting the same problem and can't find a fix?

I bought this phone about a week ago from Ebay to use on the UK Talkmobile 4G network (using Vodafone's network)

I installed the sim but even though is says 3G listed I'm only getting 2G and texts and no data?

I have read lots of forums about changing the APN but its still not working? See below

Just be aware I sometimes get an error pop up saying "simprocessor" or something like that? I have just received a new nano sim and its still not working any better?

I'm running Android 7.1.1

Enter the following settings into the boxes:
Profile name: Talkmobile MMS.
APN: talkmobile.co.uk.
Username: wap.
Password: wap.
Proxy server: 212.183.137.12.
Proxy port: 8799.
MMSC (URL): mms.payg.talkmobile.co.uk/servlets/mms.
Maximum MMS size: 1048576.

Can anyone recommend anything else before I contact the eBay seller?, Thanks

Hello!

I have the same problem with Z Pro!
The data transfer is not possible after upgrade from 6 to 7.1.1!
I have checked APNs, IMEIs, network type and the phone still does not transfer data over mobile network!

Moreover the GPS module works much worse than previously!
GPS is searching for signal very slow and looses signal during route tracking very often!

UMI suggest to downgrade to Android 6 back but I don't wanna to loose any data from my device!!!!

All in all it is annoying that after many weeks from first update to Android 7.1.1 provided by manufacturer and since the problems were reported  there is no fix nor any patches for their flagship devices!

Do you have an idea how to make the phone fully operational without loosing anything ????

Have you already tried to reset your APN settings to default?
I was recently abroad and did not have a connection there.
After resetting the settings and rebooting everything was all right again.

APN settings does not help. I tried default and mobile operator specific - nothing!

I gave up and got a refund, are there any other phones with this spec around £200?

Bonjour ,j'ai le même problème.
Si je reste connecter peu de temps en WIFI les données se réactivent.
Si je reste longtemps connecter en WIFI je ne parvient pas a réactiver les données, seul un redémarrage est nécessaire.
Aidez moi

Hello Everyone!
I recently bought my Z pro and just like you when I inserted my sim card there was no mobile data. I asked a professional and he said that the problrm is with APN and he told me how to fix it.
SO HERE IS THE SOLUTION
1) Find a friend or someone who uses the same mobile operator like you and has working mobile data(talkmobile as an example)
2) Go to settings->Wireless & Networks->More->Cellular Networks->Access Point Names(APN) both on his phone and on your phone
3) It might be trickier to find the directory on your friends phone, but something similar must exist
4) Click on the plus sign on the top right corner of your phone to create a new profile
5) Now write the exact same stuff in the new profile as it is on your friend's working profile
6) You must rewrite them 1:1 to be an exact copy. The password is usually the same as the username
7) After you're done click save in top right and then tap on the new profile you created to enable it
8) Thats it

Worked for me, I hope it'll work you too
