The UMI Plus E will not have Android 7 because the Motherboard is not compatible. Forget the upgrade and accept that they cheated and you were taken in the conversation of the markting as much including me.

I tried to return it with Gearbest, same reply: full refund only withing 45 days....
Well the phone is not that bad, just a terrible camera. And with Nova Launcher I have a close to nougat experience.
Unfortunately this phone was a huge scam for all of us.

Never again UMI! I bought an Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. It's at least a phone!

Great choice Bellami67. I bought Xiaomi Mi 8. So I am new and happy customer of Xiaomi. Excellent service, great MIUI launcher and Snapdragon processor. With UMI devices I always had problem with GPS signal, so that was another reason leave this brand because for same money you can buy Snapdragon devices and no Mediatek devices. MTK looks like shit processors with always GPS problem and not good camera. Two important matters!

10.2.2.0 is the latest one based on Oreo, next update will by based on Pie. Enjoy your great choice!
