Umi Z music volume

Hi guys had the umi z since day one and i'm still very dissapointed with th emusic volume, it's far lower than any other phone i've used, i've changed the settigns to 160 max in engineering mode but it's still too low, I was just wondering if changing the index numbers would make a difference.
