Front camera autofocus?

I just tried touching the screen to focus using the front camera of the UMI Z and it won't focus, the focus remains the same, using the default camera app.
I can't remember if previously it was working or not. Can someone confirm if there is autofocus on the front camera?

I'm using the latest update.
