Edited by louisinspiron at 2017-5-23 09:17 \n\nHi, I just saw the pictures.
I have already had experiences with white spots on the screen but never with a huge line, according to several technology sites that is called burn-in on screen, here's what I think:
I had a phone with a huge white spot on the middle top center and, as you say, it's more visible on the white backgrounds than in black ones, the strange thing is that, as I see on the pictures you sent, in the black color the white gradient is not visible but in the white color it just sees too much, so:
1. You can try to use some Android apps that can "repair" the dead pixels of the phone but its not proved this Works - https://goo.gl/1D0EPI, https: //goo.gl/jPmu6P.
2. You can use the ClearMotion and MiraVision settings on the phone to look at the problem if it is solved with that features.
You can find the ClearMotion and MiraVision settings on the Display page of settings app.
3. You can try reflashing the lastest stock firmware for the UMIDIGI Z Pro:

Lastest ROM for 4.4V 3800 mAh: http://community.umidigi.com/thread-8488-1-1.html DO NOT FLASH THE 4.4V 3800 mAh VERSION UNLESS YOU CHANGED THE BATTERY CAME WITH THE PHONE
How-to: http://community.umidigi.com/for ... d=11&extra=page%3D1
4. You can contact your seller to try to apply warranty and replace the phone with a new one (this and the next suggestion are the most recommended)
This would only apply if you still have warranty.
5. You can buy a new screen to replace the bad one
Only do this if you didn't get a replacement (no warranty). Here's a link to buy it on AliExpress: https://es.aliexpress.com/store/ ... 55_32806610769.html
Remember that opening your phone will break the warranty on this and other UMi/UMIDIGI phones
Hope this helps, if you have more troubles do not hesitate to contact me (only on this thread, not PM) |
