Hi. I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to get my umi iron to recognize my phone network? i have been using net10 for about 6 yrs now and I never had a problem porting my # to a new phone until now.

Please, make your issue clearer. Do you have problem with mobile internet connection or you not even able to make phone calls?

Hello mzakat,
maybe you mean issues on configuration with NET 10 TracFone Wireless Inc. U.S.? You should try to watch if your umi iron works on the band of that company.

I can not make phone calls. It says cellular network not available. My phone carrier says it is and we've tried 3 different sims...

Try to call 911 or any other emergency number that is applicable in your area. If that will be unsuccessful, your phone must have a hardware defection. Maybe the GSM antenna has a bad connection with the mainboard. UMI Iron supports all worldwide used GSM bands. Normally you can use it to make phone calls anywhere in the world without setting anything.

Is anyone using UMI eMax in the United States?  Mine will NOT connect to my network. I have Straight Talk / ATT&T Sim. If so HOW did you get yours to work and what is the APN settings. Thank you
