Got my UMI iron a couple of days ago. Everything seems to work ok except the LTE. I can only get a lock for 3g, even though my network has LTE connection through Band 7 (2600). Tried forcing it by setting it to LTE only, but it still reverts to 3g. Anyone else experience this issue or have suggestions to get it up on LTE?
I don't have this issue. My operator support 800 and 2600 so when I have a 4G signal I know it's a 2600 antenna (Iron doesn't support 800) also my Iron support 2600.
I think it's not your issue but can you check the Band mode in Engineer MTK mode:
- Dial the number *#*#3646633#*#*
- In the menu "Telephony" you have Band Mode
- Check in LTE Mode part if you have the Band 7 filled
