UMIDIGI Z PRO WIFI PROBLEM

Good evening,

My Z Pro has been (today) acting stangelly. The wifi goes off and the LTE data goes on automatically. I've tried to solve it by going to advanced settings and change it to keep conected when suspended (it was like it by default). Tried to reboot the phone, no luck. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Another place to look at is the Battery Saving Mode profiles.

I've faced exactly the same problem. It happens only when phone is not on charge. In about 15 to 30 seconds after I turned wifi on or adjusted backlighting it switched back. I've tried everything and in the end I realized that battery saving mode settings (which you can access from status bar) is simply not working properly with russian language selected. So I changed phone language to English, opened it and found a solution for that problem.
So you need to change "My mode" battery profile settings to not change WIFi and Mobile networks. That solved the issue for me for now, but as I looked at that settings later, I found that it has changed itself to "On" for WiFi again. Not sure if it is possible to make it not to change itself, but that's the place where you can manage it.

Just to share my hangups...

Mod didn't reply me what's the difference between on, off and do not change in another thread.

Everytime you make a change in My Mode, and save it, the WiFi, BT n cell network settings take effect then. When you activate any of those and you open My Mode, it shows your current state.

My WiFi is set to Never but it never sleeps when the phone sleeps.

Then there's the Intelligent Power Saving mode.. If it's off, Network stays awake when phone sleeps. If it's on, Cellular radio sleeps accordingly.

In either cases, WiFi doesn't sleep, also regardless of my WiFi advanced setting.

On top of that, the phone sometimes doesn't go to sleep!

Umidigi please stabilize the firmware.. These but are partially causing the battery drain.

With all these issues, I can run the phone for 30 hours with 3 hours SOT.. Other side of the coin, I can run the phone for under 20 hours with almost 5 hours SOT.

I believe this phone has potential but it's up to Umidigi support..

Hello, im having the same problems.

Yesterday my Umi Digi Z has been delivered but im havingproblems with my Phone.

The Wifi, location andmobile service especially when i activate the WIFI, it deactivate within 30seconds automaticaly.

The same with location. It automatticaly activate andwhen i want to shut it down, it activate itself again.

The same with my mobileservice. When i shut it down it activate itself again. Can someone help me withthis problem? Because this is not normal.

Do you already have solved this problem or is there someone else who can help me find a solution.

I have the same problem. WiFi switches itself OFF about 30 seconds after I have switched it ON. I have disabled power optimisation and battery saving, but that did not change the behaviour of the phone. My phone is set to use Danish language.
The version is:  UMIDIGI Z.V3.02_20170411
Android 6.0
Core system 3.18.22

It is annoying thta the phone does not automatically use the WiFi connection when availoable and switches WiFi OFF after about 30 seconds.
When will we get an update of the firmware or should I throw the phone in the bin?

I have same problem,but with bluetooth ON and after 10 to 30 seconds OFF

Thanks guys.

I ended up erasing all the data and factory reset it. since it still didn't had that many stuff on it, it was ok. but it was a strange situation.
