Hi All,
Received my Umidizi Z Pro yesterday, 20 minutes later it was completely dead.

I setup my google account, opened playstore to download whatsapp and phone turned off never to turn on again. Phone was on charge during all this process and was left on charge for over 5 hours later, but refused to come back to life.

Its a shame if Umi fails on this device. The hardware feels and looks good, but software shameful. Anyone else experienced such ?

So.. an update on my side. DealXtreme has offered a full refund after sending back the phone.

I will not be ordering a new one.

Same here. Got the phone yesterday with 19% charge. I charged it until it was 85% and then started setting up my accounts and apps. During this it rebooted once. When it reached around 65% charge it just went dead. No warning, no lights, nu stutter. Just gone!

Charged it all night and still charging now (been 12 hours on charger now) but nothing happens.. just a faint red led light going on and off.

Tried hard reset, no response. Connecting to pc, no response.

Sobakel - Hi,
Seems a design software fault with the Umi Z pro. I have already sent an email to seller and began a paypal resolution. Hopefully, they replace or refund.

Replacement will take another month + I am not inclined to paying another 65 euro's for tax en import tariffs.

If it's a software issue, they could fix it somehow?

Hopefully more buyers of this Umidizi Z PRO, would log similar issues. And this can be used incase umi or sellers are refusing to refund.

How would the software patch be installed on our phones ? My umi is completely dead (no light no signs of life). Umi would have to pay for postage and packing (within reason), to return devices.

The hardware looks more expensive, than the retail price. But what use is a good looking hardware, while phone is dead ?

Mine is just flashing red led at the moment.. still on the charger. Hoping it will wake up.

No idea how to fix this, hope UMIdigi responds soon

I think this a return job, for a refund or replacement for a thoroughly tested umi z pro.

Have you tried another Type c charger ?
