Umi Plus bugs

Hi Umi Team,

Please stop launch every month a new phone. From octomber until now you launched a phone on every month. Is more better for you if you want to grow up, to focus on actual phones and on Android updates: for fixings bugs, software improments, battery drain fix, reduce noise on camera in the night.

As example, I have an UMI Plus with Android 7(v3.01_20161228) and I noticed the following bugs:
-When charging using fast charging(genuine Umi charger) doest not say: "Charging rapidly". I received a new update some time ago on Android 7, which disable this notification.
-Incorrect data in Battery Usage, sometime says: 2 days until is discharging, sometime 1 day and sometime 6 days.
-Wifi and Cellular Data are automatically switched ON or OFF, especially when phones is an area with slow Celluar data signal. And no is not from battery profiles.
-Recent Apps: if you clear all the recent apps and after a time you press again on Recent Apps you will see new apps in the list: camera, messages, mail, gallery, file manager... even if you didn't touch that apps(are opened by itself)
-Ringtone is set to default after a phone restart. And yes I added my prefered ringone to Internal Shared Store\Ringtones folder
-Camera in low light conditions has a lot pf noise.
-Phone records(sound) and video are in 3GPP(very old format). Improvit it and add MP4 format
-Battery lose 3/4/5 percents in calls(5min calls) and drain more fast when play games(simple games) .This is happen randomly, not all the time.

The phone is good but needs the above fixed issues.
So, please focus on software updates(Google patch security updates) and bug fixes, because this way you will receive a very good respect and support from peoples who buy your phones. If no, you are just another low level company and future peoples will not buy Umi phones anymore.

All battery calculations is depends your stile if using phone. So if you charge your phone before night and then leave without using with all connections off at the morning you will get example 6 days but if you charge and straightaway start using then you will get shorter time. All calculations are based on previous discharging time.

Sorry but we can't experience such issues. Please provide more explanation,  check setting and perform factory reset.

Please activate background task clear and remove all apps from white list. Still we not experience such issues. Maybe the best solution will be flash whole ROM with SPFT.
Please follow this instruction but please skip 6th step as you need overwrite all partitions

Hello!
I have Umi Plus 64gb version with android 7(v3.02_20170613)  and i want to report a bug.

On all my phones i'm using a widget to lock the screen (https://play.google.com/store/ap ... ia.lockscreenwidget).
The problem is when i want to wake up the screen with fingerprint scanner, ALWAYS doesn't recognize my finger(i've tried with 4 fingers).

And please add option to disable the action to go to HOME when you touch the fingerprint scanner(HOME BUTTON) since you can press the button to go to home! Many poeple don't want this feature!

This is the typical answer you give each time it comes to you Reported a bug ... then first of all it is not absolutely true That are mistakes that can not be corrected just know how to modify the kernel .... In fact in other versions some Bugs have been corrected but new ones have emerged.Now I want to ask you a question ... but are you or are not you able to create a stable kernel?Very stupid question you always state that your systems are stable And we are users who have hardware problems .... I have a system that goes fine or almost ...... and you developed it But not released ... Looks casualty ... just missing the fast charge but for those who know ....They are awesome issues ... a greeting

I have an umi plus phone. Overall im happy with it but i have a problem which i think must be a bug too. The schedule power on function does not work while the phone is charging. Is there something which i can do to solve this problem. This is making the alarm function useless as it wont work if the phone is turned off

The option to turn off the hotspot when idle for 5 or 10 minutes not working on my Umi plus. The hotspot is always turned on.
One more question. Are going to develop Miui or any other mod for your phones?

Please reboot your phone and test hotspot options. If this options still not working then please perform factory reset.
Umi plus will not get firmware upgrades also updates are not in plan.

\n\nHi. After upgrading to android 7 I have a bug. When I turn off the mobile and turn it back on the ringtone changes from my custom ringtone to beat pucker. What can I do? Thanks.

\n\nUpgraded to Nougat at february this year. Battery drain - from 5 days using to 2 days only. I said, "well, back to Marshmallow".
Upgraded to lastest Nougat last week. Battery drain is still there!!! WTF? Does anyone optimizing or not? It´s almost year before. Back to Marshmallow again...
Do you really thinking I will to buy another Umi phone in the future? Your great phones are killing by your poor optimalization.
