just seen, that a new Update via OTA is released.
I just downloading and installing it..
What will be solved:

Here's the official changelog:

1. add "double tap" wake up screen funtion
2. battery life optimized (fixed the battery drain problem)
3. fix problem of Gyroscope issue
4. camera optimized
5. finger print issue fixed
6. optimized screen touch sensitive

Both the SP Flash Tool release and the OTA update file will be shared in the ROM section tonight.

I also noticed faster battery drain after the latest OTA. Funny that one of the fixes was a battery drain:-) I was so happy with battery before the update.

I've found a solution for the fast battery drain which is working for me.  I've deactivated the VoLTE option. I don't have this feature in my mobile contract. The drain is now below 1% per hour.  Before  it was 2.6% in standby mode. You can find this option here: Einstellungen.. Mehr.. Mobilfunknetze.. Erweiterter 4G LTE-Modus.. - - Off

i updated, and at first stage i see that one bug is fixed:
the banking apps are recognising my fingerprint now, good stuff.

Cool. This is what I've noticed so far:

- Inverted gyroscope issue seems to be fixed. This means the Google Camera app now does Panoramas and Photo Spheres just fine. Haven't tested any VR stuff.
- There's a new icon in the notification bar to turn Hotspot on and off.
- SmallWindow issue is still there.

just installed.
Installation was successfully done..
after a ROM-update you should be patient, because of a lot of background processes need to run...
for sure it is still Android 6....

After a reboot i noticed, that Bluetooth is everytime turned off... you need to enable manually.

seems to load very slowly.. The original charger is only noticed as "normal" and is only charging with 700mA...
--> i will monitor...
UPDATE:
with original charger and original Cable --> charging again with 2000mA.. uuuff.. :-)

still testing...

hopefully the bug with: not keeping setting from MiraCast (Bluekight filter) after reboot is resolved..

You were right in all instances.
Unfortunatelly - yes: when it is charging it does not display "fast" or "quick" charging just "Charging".
How did you manage to enable the quick charging again?

I just took really original cables
--> turned off UMI Z completly --> wait 5 minutes
--> same for the charger
--> then reconnecting everything and starting up --> after 5-10 minutes of charging it switched over to rapidly/fast...

SO my next impression:
Faster unlocking with fingerprint...

I have done just that and charged it from 95% to 100% and haven't noticed the fast charging indicator.
Will see that at a later time.
