Edited by updatesvc at 2017-2-8 14:54 \n\nI think I accidentally flashed the preloader, and some how messed it up.
I had recently upgraded to Nougat but wanted to go back to Android 6.O
The phone does not  boot, no charging Led..no signs of life.

I cant not able to reflash it.
In SPFT I am not able to detect it (when I click the download button to flash it, it does not do anything)
However when I connect I  see MTK DA USB VCOM driver in device Manager.

What should I do or is this the end?

Thanks for that. Flashing now works.

Hi
Firstly please don't be worried about preloader.
I would recommend you to change options on SPFT from firmware upgrade to format + download.
Then flash with proper ROM version.
I would recommend use any one from this list
http://community.umidigi.com/forum-134-1.html
If one will not work you can use other one.
Please follow this instruction
http://community.umidigi.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=11
But skip 6th step as you need overwrite all partitions.
You probably lose all IMEI numbers but you can restore IMEI numbers with SN writer from this link
http://community.umidigi.com/thread-1375-1-1.html
Please don't star your phone after flashing, firstly please plug in to charger and if red light appear all should be fine so charge your phone to full then star.
If flash don't start it self you need press power button for around 10-15 seconds after connecting to computer.

Em seguida, tente aumentar o volume + botão de alimentação por 20 segundos, nada vai acontecer. Em seguida, proceder normalmente com SPFT, e ver se flash.

Good Morning! I already bricked mine that way too. What is happening is that it is stuck in update mode and not shut down for a retry in SPFT. You'll have to somehow force the total shutdown to get flash again. My I opened the device and disconnected the battery, then reconnected it and did the flash procedure by SPFT and worked perfectly.

Unfortunately opening up the phone and removing the battery might not be an option that I could go for.
I lack the proper tools and a bit too risky to mess something up.
Thanks Anyway

Try to hold in the power button and volume up at the same time for about 15 Seconds. See if anything happens.  Post time 2017-2-7 23:53

A thousand pardons, I translated by google translator, but Chrome reverted automatically to Portuguese at the time I posted it. What I wanted to say:Try increasing the volume + power button for 20 seconds, nothing will happen. Then proceed normally with SPFT, and see if flash.
