Audio Jack Issue (Crackling White Noise)

Hi There, I have been having audio issues on my UMI Plus as follows:

When I plug anything into the headphone jack, I get no immediate buzz or noise and there is dead silence until a sound file plays.

When my headphones into the jack it sounds fine with audio playing (with a faint hissing noise which i'm not too bothered about), however;
When I plug an auxilary cable in to an amplifier (I have tried several amplifiers and auxilary cables to rule them out as the cause), I am hearing a loud crackling white noise over all sound playing from the phone.

My UMI Plus has been updated to android 7 Nougat via the OTA update. I am unsure if I had this issue before the update but as I have been unable to roll back to android 6 it is hard to tell if it is an issue with the update or the internal phone amplifier or port. I susspect that it is a software issue as mentioned above, there is no static noise until a sound is played on the phone.

Here's what I've tested so far:

Aux Port/Headphone socket:
Playing sound and music with headphones plugged in to aux port (including notification sounds), and all are playing without interference noise.

Playing the same sound and music through the aux port with:
a straight through 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio jack cable to an amplifier
a 3.5mm plug to Balanced XLR into a PA Mixing desk.  
a 3.5mm audio jack to RCA socket into the same PA Mixing desk (less interference than the other options).
a 3.5mm audio jack to RCA socket into a home stereo

All of these configurations above with the exceptioin of the headphones have been giving me very loud static/white noise during audio playback (although some were slightly better than others).
I have tested the above configurations using my laptop audio port instead of my UMI Plus using the exact same cables and amplifier and all have sounded good (without the static/white noise interference).

Bluetooth:
I have tested the same sounds and music via bluetooth with nothing plugged into the aux port and sound is good (without interference).

Unfortunately as I mentioned earlier, I am unsure if this is a Nougat 7 issue or if the phone has always been like this which I understand is not the best of help for faultfinding.
It appears to be a system wide issue though as I have reset my phone to factory settings as much as possible without rolling back to Android 6, and tried ' safe mode' and had the same results.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.

My phone UMI is not observed such problems. This is in my phone Maisie M1 note where each time the action is heard a rustling from squeaking.

Yep, it accours to me when im listening to music (headphones).
It makes white noise for a short time and it hissles. I made a thread about it. Go check it out.

Yes, I also had the same problem, but it is really insignificant compared to all the other problems I have been experiencing with my UMi Rome. They include screen problem and battery problems.

If you only has hissing problems you should consider yourself very luck indeed!
