Mobile Network not activated

Hello,
I have a UMI Super and there's the following problem happening at times: I have mobile data turned off, and when I activate it, there doesn't seem to be any connection. The mobile reception icon shows 3G and there is a strong mobile signal but no data. If I restart the phone, it gets connected to the mobile network immediately with no problems. Any ideas?

This is not a problem for UMI phones only, I have a ONE+1,same behavier.

so it looks like an android bug? I'll try the airplane mode on/off too the next time it occurs.

This is not android fault. This could happen as phone is communicating to network and always some delays could occur depends which networks provider you using and is this third party or main. (if is third party you will get more delays as ping is way higher)

i too am having problems with umi hammer network issues.i have full signal and cannot make phone calls or texts.i t finds 3g-4g-e and still nothing.any helpit doesnt seem to do any kind of process of dialing out it just hangs up.
