UMi Iron mic issue

Hi,
I bought an UMI Iron but my mic doesnt work on calls.
However it works perfectly when i record sound.
Is there any software/rom update that can i do?

Hello tiagox9,
you can find the new firmware V 1.6 and update it from Rootjoy. I think you will solve that issue flashing it.

Hi tiagox9,

If you find that flashing it via rootjoy doesn't work, then it would probably be better to flash it using flashtools and see if that fixes the issue. Instructions for installing using flashtools can be found in here: http://community.umidigi.com/thread-11-1-1.html

Hi mates,

I installed the version 1.6, via flashtool, but still the same.
Maybe if i install a diferente rom or a downgrade?

The audio improved a little, but i maxed out the values, still the person on the other side cant understand or listen in good terms.
I dont know what to do anymore...

I tried the original voice recording app, plus smart voice recorder. No problem there.
On regular calls, facebook and whatsapp callsmdonr work, even with the loudspeaker.
I have to sent it back and wait another month for it....and i really need it

Try to change settings with mtk engeneering:

Normal Mode:

sip  L0    value 112             vol 160

   L6    value  255
            vol    160

sph  e  sph2    L6 value 160

media L14  value 255
                     vol    160

Loud speaker mode:
ring  L14 value 255
               vol 160

sip  L0    value 112             vol 160

   L6    value  255
            vol    160

sph  e  sph2    L6 value 160

media L14  value 255
                     vol    160
Then reboot and let us know.
