Umi Plus E Problems

Good morning all users of the umi plus e,   please be advised that when your device was shipped it should have had the 11/12/2016 factory rom.
There has been an ota update which I believe is the 17/12/2016 this ota update has errors and bugs that the admin and Ben and MarcinP need to push urgently to the developers / ROM engineers to fix asap.

The bugs are ...
Screen sensitivity
Random reboots from sleep mode and normal mode
Big4G should be taken off as it was voted to be non acceptable by users in previous thread.
No recovery option is twrp or cwm
Not rooted... Need routing tool to install apps for testing of the ROM.

The above should have been pre tested before sending the ota updates out so users do not suffer the problems and also the forum stays clean and unclogged from un necessary threads being posted taking up the moderators time and admins time sorting etc

Please therefore could you kindly check and revert with solutions to this thread etc

Hi,

Please download and install the V3.01_20161227 OTA update.
The network indicator (big 4G) will be kept in place, sorry.
The TWRP recovery has been never provided by UMi. I'll publish one if available.
Rooting is also not supported officially. You'll be able to do it with TWRP.

After the V3.01.20161217 update I been getting hanging at charging and black screen randomly..I am unable to update to V3.01.20161227
As I keep getting "Network connection failed" I can access all other online apps and sites on the phone so its not my wifi issue
Please fix..this is the first time I am getting UMI phone and it is leaving a very bad impression

Everything is fine for me, except the camera: it's beyond horrible. It says 13 MP but it looks like 5 at max... It's seriously a let-down, because everything else is super. Of course for that price I wasn't expecting a professional camera, but this is way too bad...

Yes, after updating to 20161217 I experienced worse performance and constant reboots and freezes on my phone

I updated to 20161227 and it seems it's working better. Let's wait a couple of days to see if it actually works ok

After the V3.01.20161217 update I been getting hanging at charging and black screen randomly me too.I am unable to update to V3.01.20161227. After downloaded and trying to install it the installation stops indicating an error. please help..

Today discovered, when you connect headphones to the phone with the option vol vol up or down, pops up information about the application is closed, the interface is already beginning to be ridiculous. this is the player system on any of the Play Store, while talking trash ... no phone !!!!

Hi All,

I have been using UMI Plus E for almost a month now, everything work awesomly fine. There is one issue though.

I have been transfering files using ShareIT but from UMI plus E, it very slow and while transfering the connection gets terminated. Is there anythning i can do?

I have modified shareit setting and app settings to check if i get better results but its still the same. If an UMI rolled update can help please take this issue as one of the bugs in UMI plus E.

Hi,

I have a problem with self-rebooting.

I bought the phone and it updated the firmware to ver. E.V3.02_20170216 by itself using wi-fi updating.

The problem still occurs and the phone resets by itself three-four times a day.

I did a hard reboot but nothing helped.

The problem still exists.

What can I do ?
