hello i am having big problems with my umi super the problem is my umi super phone i am having problems with the sd card keep getting messege do you want to change the default write disk,i press the ok button and 5 mins later the same messege come again....i have use a diffrent sd card still the same messege....would any 1 on here no how to fix tx...........i have used new sd card,,,rebooted the phone ,restarted the phone and still the same ty
I don't know do factory reset help with this issue. But if you don't try you never know. Firstly we should start from basic solutions.
Is this message coming when you shaking phone or could show up when phone is on table without touching ? (you know poor contact between motherboard - sd card or sd card too loose in slot.)
Could you tell me size/capacity of sd card?
ty marcinP for your help i did the factory reset and its the same sd card ready then the messege do you want to change the default write disk ....you are right about when shaking it always want to sd card ready..i no this because when i am out walking this would happen alot with my music on sd card its pain the the hoot ......i use sandisk 16 gb is the new one i got the other day and i was useing 32gb sandisk ultra and yes they are real cards got 1 in currys and the other 1 in argos,,,,,, i wonder it it is the sandisk brand ill get another brand and see.... if the worse comes to the worse ill send back were i got it to be fix the phone only 2 months old ty again marcinP for help happy xmas to you and all tx
If you want try another option you can flash your phone with SPFT in case you have some bug/error in system. Please get ROM, SPFT and drivers from here to latest available version http://community.umidigi.com/thread-5765-1-1.html
And from here you can get basic information how use SPFT flash method http://community.umidigi.com/thread-11-1-1.html
You can try format your sd card in phone too. Then you know that sd card has correct format.
But if this fault is happening only due to "shaking" phone you need contact reseller.

the phone is fucked now wont turn of or on now....so the phone dead trying to contact the seller on ebay,,no reply from him 6 email,,,was on to ebay they sent me to paypal they looked into the problem and wont do anything about it ,,,, its a dear lesson £160.00 the seller is base in china and warehouse in england ...i having a leg to stand on
