Easiest Way To Update ROM

Hi All,

My Max is on 20160810 so need to flash it once to update and get any further FOTA, so, what's the easiest way to do this so i don't lose any data whatsoever? If someone could point me in the direction of a tutorial that would be great.

Cheers for that. So, do I have flash or can I just install that manual ota zip file? First post on that link doesn't state.

When I connect my Phone to my computer, it is not recognized, so the flashing is not starting.  Also the manual update with the zip-file is not working.
can someone give a step by step procedure to have a succesfull flashing because I read many different once.

I had such a problem with uploading the update to phone because the red stripe didn't start. So I disconnect the cable from phone, wait 5 sec and than connect again. The stripe starts flashing until 100%.
