UMI MAX update v1.01_20161017

Hello,

I received information about firmware update v1.01_20161017 released on 2016.10.21 but I cannot find any info about that update.
The size of file is about 10.5 Mb.

Anybody knows more info about that update?

I'm no expert in IT, just a simple phone and laptop user. When i bought Umi Max i didn't expected to have all this problems. Why can i connect without any issues my Samsung S4, or HTC to the computer and not a chance to make the same with yours?. Befor you sell it, you should told the people that the quality of UMI is not the same as the "ordinary" brands. Now i'm stayng and look to the phone and the usb cable and don't know what to do. Is this fair i'm asking you? Don't even ask you about making an update to a higher quality android without being Bill Gates.

I am disappointed

You should receive as OTA. As of now it is not uploaded in forums to flash it manually.

First update I had to upload manually.

Now I received FOTA update 20161017 and I update the phone but there's no information about that update. I just wanted to know what is included in that update file.

Hi, my UMI MAX received update too, but same faults are in stock rom, for example dialer do not show contact photos. Only battery life is much better.

What kind of problem do you have with led?
I think my phone don't have problem with that.

It doesn t notify anything....just standby light

I uploaded this using FOTA but now my phone is not recognised by my computer. SO I can no longer transfer files between computer and phone. I can chose see the alternatives like file transfer or Transfer photo's butnot recognised by my computer anyone else have this problem
