Keyboard popup

I've tried several 3rd party keyboards, like Swiftkey and Google keyboard. Many of them have a feature where if you hold the period (.) key, a popup menu appears where you can select another delimiter character by sliding over the popup and releasing the screen when your finger is over the desired character (like & on this screen shot). However, no matter what keyboard I've tried, that doesn't work on the UMI super -  The popup menu just disappears, and no character is entered when you release your finger.. Likie I've said, I have tried several keyboards that work like this, and they all behave the same. This makes me believe it's something on the phone that works in an (to the keyboard) unexpected way, rather that that it's a mproblem with the keyboards. Ideas on how to fix?

This is a known problem.
For me ? ! etc. also not works always
However, a solution is not known to me.

I have exactly the same problem with keyboards.
Newer might which language you choose still this hidden option not working!
But I found that sometimes some hidden options working but just at first time of use.
