no sound on loud speakers

I tested the phone to see if it works properly. Wanted to listen to something on youtube and realized i have no sounds. Checked the volume and the settings and they were in order, but still no sounds. And it does not ring if i get called. No sounds when it starts up either. Gave a factory reset also, but no results. if  i put headphones  i have sound

Hi, I have a similar problem.

I bought UMI Plus (10 days back) and now there is NO sound from the Speaker i.e. Music doesn't play... no sound in Videos.
Earphone works fine and sound during call is fine too but no sound in ring tone.

It worked fine for few days. I have done wireless update too.

Current firmware version : UMI PLUS.V3.01_20161117

I have checked all the settings related so sound but with no luck.

Please look into this and suggest a fix ASAP.

hellow,See if you have bluetooth headset connected or turned on

By my opinion is hardware problem, loud speaker or poor connection. Contact to seller.

I have the same issue, I need to change the speakers, my problem is at Brazil we don't have seller or master dealer.
Any know where I can bay the spare part?

the problem is not the speaker, it is the connection of the board to the speaker, that is the problem. just open it up and join it with a flex. wire enjoy.,

same issue, have an umidigi S, the phone is less than 2 weeks old, suddenly no sound at all, plugged in a aux cable a few times, then suddenly worked again, never used an aux or headphone before, wonder how long it lasts...

Roll back to a version like marsmellow 6.0. this version works.

I too had this problem with my Umi Super, and I got a permanent fix.

I put Super to drawer, and bought a decent phone. So long Umi with a bit disappointing user experience. You almost made it, but that was not enough for me.

I am sure this silent loudspeaker is a hardware problem, but giving instructions for consumer to open phone and fix the phone by wiring is not the correct way to fix the situation.
