UMI Touch sound problems

Hi. I just bought a UMI touch phone. The phone won't ring and I can't hear the sound on videos etc. I have turned the sound setting to outdoor , but that did not help. After rebooting couple of times i reset the phone to factory, but that did not cure the problem. Can someone please help. The phone is running Android 6 and is Rooted.

Sound problems,  what to do .  The phone is new  and orderd from Chinavasion.

I think the problem was after and update.  ( the first and only update on this phone).

How can i fix this ?  the phone not rooteas far as i know.

Hi,

If your phone absolutely doesn't produce sound through its loud speaker, not even after a factory data reset, then the reason is most probably a specific hardware defection. Also most probably not the speaker itself is defective but it simply has no connection to its PCB. It can be easily repaired by a skilled repairman (that's probably enough to tighten the internal screws) but since it's a warranty issue, I suggest you to contact your reseller to make them help you resolve your case.
