There needs to be some responsibility taken by the user in these cases.
A dropped phone that breaks is not a crap phone. It's unlucky, but it's not the manufacturers fault. If a strong screen is hit flat on the front, then it will probably not break. If it is hit on an angle on the side, then there's a good chance it will break. It doesn't matter which screen it is. As wanagain79 mentioned, sometimes you are lucky, sometimes you are not... But you cannot blame the manufacturer after you drop a phone, and no manufacturer will fix a cracked screen from a drop under warranty.
My advice... don't drop your phone or get yourself a case for extra protection (but this will not guarantee an invincible phone) |
