wifi frequency band option missing umi super

Hi there guys,

I have received my umi super a week ago, I had the sam problem like anybody has for example the insane battery drainage so that already been sorted out with the settings I had read on forums.
There is only one thing which worries me that I do not have the choice to choose between the frequency band. The option is missing from android 6 marshallow, anybody know how to get it back?

I don't understand where your trouble is.
For example, I've setup a router with double frequency; 2,4GHz and 5 GHz.
When I open the Wi-Fi settings I see two different spots, one with 2,4 GHZ frequency and another different on with 5 GHZ frequency and I can choose one or the other, without troubles.
My UMI Super works well on both.

my umi touch is also a dual band phone but in tethering i cant choose between the 2.4 and the 5 ghz channel. ist just not there - how can i fix it

Hi;
Normally you can't setup or lock your mobile to work on 2,4 GHz or 5 GHZ by configuration.
The device will seek for Wi-Fi networks on both frequencies and the offer to you the spots on 2,4 GHZ and 5 GHZ available around you, and then you've to select what connection you wanted.
