Umi super with random screentoutchs

I bought a umi super last mounth but yesterday after i was cleaning him (with propoer material and with screen off) the phone whent crazy. I can't set the patern lock, can't set the pin code, i can't do nothing with him. The problem is that the phone keeps pulling up and down very fast the notification screen, and then keeps turning on various settings with random screentoutchs and i can't controle him. It seems is possessed with some weard android spirit...
Can i do something before deliver him to suport team to see if is a malfunction. The phone is brand new, with no scratches but it seems that the software or hardware is a crap.... Sorry if i hurt your fellings, i like a lote the umi super i still think is a great phone but this problem is getting me crazy.

Hi, I have exactly the same problem. after 1 month of use. the phone is new and protect. I try the full reset and calibrate the touch screen, but without result. I finally broke the screen. I think it is a manufacturing problem. I contacted umi but they do not respond to my message. disappointed of this purchase

I made the factory reset and the problem still persists. For my readings i think there has been a lot of troubles with the warrenty. I think i lost 200 euros....

I feel lost too. I try to understand why my hard earned cash is wasted like this. I gave what Umi asked for, but I didn't get what Umi promised. A Super phone, super camera, super battery, super screen and so on. I try to understand this.

I suggest that if you experience problems like with the screen just to open rma case at your dealer. Guys you have WARRANTY ! Use it wisely. Don't waste your money.

Same here for me!

I tried almost everything and flashed manually all currently existing Roms... didn't work! Factory reset doesn't help either...

This phone is not worth buying.

I think it is worth it as mine is quite working good. Sure with some software bugs needed to be cleared.

If you have a problem with hardware dont waste your time complaining here too much but send back under warranty and get a new working one. This is what I suggest as this can happen with almost any phone.

The ones posting here will always be the ones having problems. The ones with working phones neverwill post here. So if you have faulty phones with a rate of like 50 out of 100.000 you will read only about the 50 here.

Dont be too shy to just change your phone to a working one. Thatis why we have that thing called warranty ;)
