Microphone issue

Hi,

I have an issue with the microphone... during a call, the microphone doesn't work except if I set the loud speaker.
Someone can help me?

What do you mean with "microphone doesn't work"? You mean no sound at all?
I today had the issue that during calls the other party could nearly not hear me. I checked it with different calls to different phones.
After restarting the phone all works like it should be again.

I suggest restarting the phone at first and then to check again.

Just to make sure please check that you did not mute the mic ;)

Thanks for your feedback.
Yes, I mean no sound at all or very very lower sound during call.
When you say restart the phone, you mean reset the phone by doing a factory setting?
I don't think my mic is in mute...

No, I meant just restarting. I had the same issue with low sound of mic just an hour ago. Got rid of it by just restarting the phone

I already tried to restart it several times... but same problem
I also tried to "play" with audio settings in engineering mode but, I can not find the mic settings... I would like to increase the mic volume

Strange. I checked now a bit further but no luck. If possible try a factory reset and check again.
If it does not get better you may ask your dealer for a repair

which ROM you use?... I installed the official ROM (2016/07/08) yesterday... maybe there is a pb with that... I bought the phone in wholsaler... I don't know if they can repair it... and as I live in France, the time to send / resend it will be very long...

I use the same Rom.
I guess we all bought our phones from wholesalers ;) Nevertheless the phone is under warranty. They will most probably forward the phone to UMI to be prepared. But I think it will be the only solution to get a repaired one.
So better test to factory reset first ;)

Thanks a lot for your help... I am really disappointed because I love this phone, the perf is really nice... but, if I can not... phone with it, it is a shame :-(

I'm with you. I guess many things will be better when they release a new firmware. With "new" I mean not the try to repair the one we use now but maybe a new one from the scratch. Rumors saying something about an official support for CM13. That would be great.
