Problems with phone : Screen went black and can't lit up again

Hi,

I bought UMI Touch about amonth ago and it works fine until today. After I used Google maps and chrome, the screen lit off. I thought thephone was back at standby mode. But when tap the screen, nothing happened, thenI tried to press the power button, the result is the same, nothing happened,the screen is still black. I even tried to long press the power button torestart the phone, but to no avail either.


But  the phone still feelwarm right now, I think the phone is hanged or something, but I can’t do anything aboutit.  Can anyone give me suggestion what should i do?

Hi,

you can try to flash your phone with SP Flash Tool.

In your case please follow the instructions under the green title.
If flashing the ROM doesn't help, then you might have a battery issue but in that case the phone needs to be disassembled. If you can, please test your USB cable and charging adapter with another device.

I've had this a few times, most recently last week...

I could feel a short vibration when the phone was plugged into a charger, but got no response from any of the buttons.

The solution was to disconnect the battery for a few seconds, before reconnecting again.
