External USB flash drive

I ordered a cheap little otg plug

This to be exact but when I plug it in along with a USB flash drive nothing pops up to indicate a new storage mounted device and I can't find any indication in any file browsing apps that the drive was mounted. Does otg work properly on this device or is this otg plug a dud?

I tried another usb and it worked instantly. 1gb usb formatted to fat32 worked fine but the one i tried initially was a 32gb stick formatted to fat32 and doesnt work at all. Maybe there is a size limitation? look forward to what you try out.

I use an OTG cable with my 64gb Samsung USB flash drive all of the time. The flash drive was pre-formatted from the factory and has worked on both my Windows 10 PC's and with the OTG cable without requiring a reformat of the flash drive. Perhaps you should try reformatting the 32gb drive again since there does not appear to be a size limitation (at least not up to 64gb).
