Seem to have found a weakness in the Umi Super screen

I was bending over petting my cat with the Super in my breast pocket and it fell out about 2 feet onto a wood floor.  and hit the floor on its edge and the screen cracked right over the front facing camera lens and now the touch screen doesn't work on the right quarter of the screen.

There seems to be a weak spot right on the lens area.  It shouldn't have broken from this fall from that height onto that surface.  I've only had the thing for 2 weeks.

\n\nFrom what I have seen from reviews and stress tests the gorilla glass is very soft on this device for a gorilla glass 3 screen. In many of the stress tests the screen has proven to be very fragile. You should have gotten a tempered glass screen protector it might have saved the device and a plastic or silicon cover would certainly helped absorb the impact as well. Iv currently got a generic one that doesn't fit the screen well at all but iv ordered an official one to replace this so hopefully that's better.

I don't think you have much hope of fixing that screen as parts are not avaible for this device, I haven't even seen a replacement battery never mind a new screen and digitizer.

Yeah I think it might be a little late for accessories in this case.

The warrenty mightcoverit as it shouldn't be breaking so easily but weather or not the seller will honor it is another matter.

Bang good. Same place I got the phone.  my boss ordered the phone for me but didn't order a case for it. I ordered a case the day after the phone arrived.

regardless, I'm going to try the warranty return, but if that fails, is it possible to order a replacement glass front for this phone? That seems to be all that's broken.
