I have been using the UMI Super for almost one month.
In the meantime I have done both OTA updates. Unfortunately I am not yet 100% satisfied with the camera and the display but the quality is not bad for this price.
BUT there is one issue which is really unpleasant. My phone keeps disconnecting from WiFi quite a lot, at least once in 2 minutes and then for about 5 - 10 seconds until it re-connects again.
I am using a router wit 2.4 and 5 ghz. We use 1 iPhone, 2 LG smartphones and 1 Wiko smartphone in the same network and none of the 4 other smartphones ever disconnect from WiFi.
Is anyone experiencing the same problem? Is there a solution how to resolve it (settings)?
Thank you in advance for helping. Should there be another thread with this topic, I apologize for opening another one.
Regards from Switzerland.

I have heard that doing a factory data reset after the OTA can resolve issues. Of course, you lose all data but may be worth a try. I have no WiFi issues, only radio ones

Edited by acsa83 at 2016-7-10 12:52 \n\nHi from Switzerland too,

I think there is very little to do about this issue as, I've had a Nexus 5X and a Nextbit Robin both running marshmllw 6.0 and they had this WiFi disconnecting problem until they updated to 6.0.1, anybody else can maybe corroborate? It's a 6.0 bug I guess

It's the same for the UMi Touch.

I have an UMI Super and my Wifi is terrible I turn it on then maybe 10 seconds later it turns itself off. I have tried going to developer settings and using both "aggressive wifi to mobile handover", and "use legacy DHCP client"... Also tried doing a network settings reset... nothing works....

Any help would be appreciated. I have another android device running exactly the same version of marshmallow that works fine on the same network...

When will the Android 7.0 release be happening for the Umi Super?

Cheers,

Gaz

Here I go with a trick that I'm using when such problem occurs:

Please go to Settings, WIFI, click on Search definitions and turn off Bluetooth search.

Try to turn on the WIFI. Sometimes it requires two attempts but it works.

Hi
You need check battery saving mode. Please set as my mode and check /adjust settings.
You can go to WiFi - top right three dots - advanced - keep wi-fi on during sleep.
