Dear users,

Please let me clear something. Yes, we say that UMi never promised a Win10 ROM for UMi Touch since that's the truth. Nobody of you can cite an official UMi page that talks about that, not even a saved one from the past. A gizmochina journalist just caught a news about a Win10 development at UMi, faked some photos by his own and published an article that was created in his mind.
What we really have to apologize for is the lack of Rootjoy support. Unfortunately the decision of discontinue the Rootjoy project was made after UMi Touch had been announced. Since the Rootjoy app (for ROM flashing) needs root access but FOTA updates cannot be applied on rooted phones, the developers couldn't have find a solution until now. The FOTA capability is a must have, so we had to resign the Rootjoy compatibility.

Hello. Its still under development like two months for now. And if you ask them they said the same thing, its under development.

My opinnion, if they put together a workable rom, why they dont release a beta, so we test it ? I think lott of pepole gladly test it, if this is fasting the development process.

I'm pretty sure they stopped working on the UMI Touch. I sent many emails to the umi support and many pm to UMIadmin, I never received any answers. My subjects were on the fact I bought the phone for the ROMs it should receive but it didn't. They would release any ROMs. They are more known than when they released the Touch. They don't care about this phone anymore, they only want to work on the recent phones and on the future ones. Thank you very much UMI, I feel scammed, I own my touch but I will never buy an UMI anymore if I change smartphone.

A development doesn't obviously ends in a successful workout. That's the reason because UMi has never announced a Win10 ROM for the Touch or any other UMi products. A UMi employee told about that development to a journalist and that journalist, who has no relation to UMi just announced it as a fact that will happen. Please ask that guy to explain, not UMi.

Ok, no beta testing. But lots of pepole lost in faith the UMI brand . So why dont UMI tell the progress? LIke : "The Development progress is 50 % and we need two months to finish it" for example.  Or why dont UMI show a video prof that the Win 10 rom is exist ? If you do this. lots of pepole is going to shut up and not ask questions.
