UMI SUPER ULTRA FAST CHARGING SEEMS TO BE A FAKE

I have test the ultra fast charging thing, with 3 different chargers and 3 different cables, using a USB polimeter and Voltage does not rise over 5V and current is below 1.2 mA.

Does any one feel that the ultracharging fw is not working properly?

PumpExpress+ works as expected. Original charger and a 2 meter long Blitzwolf Cable made för Qualcomm fast charge 3. Maximum current 9V* 2,4 A.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's not working. Many things are not working as they were advertised.

Have you tried fast chargers not just normal chargers that charge at a low voltage.   My phone charges within an hour with a fast charger plugged in to the mains

Did your other chargers support PE+ (pump express) technology which is for MediaTek based phones and not compatible with qualcomms quickcharge?

Mine is quite fast with the original kit.

PS: maybe the usb-voltage-meter circuit messes with the PE+ wiring/protocol

Mine charges very fast with the original charger. No complaints about that.

I actually feel fairly satisfied with ma Super, charge is very fast takes less than 2 hours to get a full charge with the supplied charger. I have also a couple quick charging Qualcomm chargers and they take 3-4 hours to charge the 4000mah  battery, its satisfying. A few bug here and there but I can live with it. Umi is pretty fair with their advertising

Ok, it seems my voltimeter its not compatible with ultra charging. I tried at home with qualcomm fast chargers, so it is not compatible with Qualcomm technology?

About mediatek ultra fast charging, today i have used a new better voltimeter and it seems to be working, 12V charging and 1 A,  so I guess qualcomm technology does not work properly with this phone.

Do you feel the same?

I suppose that the fast chargers compatible either solution (Qualcomm's and Mediatek's) should fall back to the basic USB charging mode while connected to the phone designed for the other...
