Noise coming from the phone

I've noticed when the phone is not in use and the room is quiet I can here a noise coming from the phone.
The noise comes from where the camera/fingerprint sensor is. Is this normal??

It is like a static / buzzing noise constantly

Strange, has it been dropped at any point ?
Does the sounds all work ok and phone calls ?
I can only suggest to send it back to the retailer failing the obvious route of fault finding (expelling the avenues of software i.e. update the ROM).. sounds like hardware issue.
