SmallWindow error message

Hello UMI Community,

I keep getting the popûp error message "SmallWindow has stoopped working)

Anybody knows how to fix this?

I've been trying many things such as wipe system cache, wiped cache from Android Web View, wiped cache from Google Play, wiped cache from Google Music, nothing works.

I actually have made some tests and it appears that the SmallWindow error pops up mostly when Google Play Music is running, and also with some widgets. I've tried to install a fresh Rom, started phone as new device without any backup, whenever i downlodad Google Play Music and started to use it Small Window error popped up back!

Hi,

I can now confirm i Have flasehd new OTA 20160616 using FlashTool, followed all steps correctly, installed my Umi Super as new device, only installed Google Play Music app, and after adding the widget on the home screen, "SmallWindow app stopped working correctly" appeared, phone was running fresh clean Firmware from 3 mins only! when i have this SmallWindow Pop-up coming, after that every time a new song is plyed with Google Play Music, screen turn on, so every new song screen turns on, very strange... I gues it has something to do with  pop-up windows or notification system on the Android 6.0 mounted on UMI Super...

I never had this issue on none of my other android devices

Hi. i found smallwindow app in applications enabling system process view with installed apps.
it's possible to empty the cache....

i checked and it seems to be ok now

Can you just clarify exactly what you did here please? i can't find the 'small window' app in my Apps.

Hi all,

I just found out that Mediatek ROM has several bugs and this is one of them, guys just drop Mediatek Poreccors devices... just sold my UMI and bought a Qualcomm chipped phone (OP2). No issue with SmallWindow ever!
