Edited by alvaroav at 2016-6-20 23:11 \n\nI have just received the FOTA, and now the fingerprint sensor is working wrong continously.
I already had 2 fingers included, and one is never recognizing it, and the other, just 1 out of 2 tries.
May some sensibility parameter is changed in a non best performance mode?

Has anyone experienced the same?

Thanks

Dear user,

Please delete your existing fingerprints and set them again.

Regards,
Bence

Dear bencebacsi,

I did it, I've just removed the previous fingerprints, and then I just was able to set 1 fingerprint. For the second one, when I tried to setup it, at the half of the process, the sensor seems to be stack and does not complete the 100%.

The funny thing, is that even with just 1 finger print setup after removal of the previous ones, from time to time, it recognizes the previous 2 fingerprints (like a residual record of the original ones).
The issue is that just from the last OTA (before it works perfect, with 95% success rate on fingerprint recognition), it seems that sensor sensibility has been reduced.
I've recalibrated the sensor many times via the fingerprint security app, without any change.

Thanks for your support.

I've two fingers set on FOTA 20160616.
Both working fine.

While setting up fingerprints make sure you press your fingers a little bit harder than you've done with previous firmware.

In my case this solved the problem.

My only fingerprint worked after FOTA 6.16. The only thing I had to do it so turn on the fingerprint verification in the security settings.

Finally I did a Factory Reset and on reboot I was able to recover the previous sensibility of the sensor.
Now I am able to configure both 2 fingerprints, and both are working correctly to unlock the phone.

Maybe something between the sensibility and/or calibration was wrong in/after the FOTA process... no idea of what happened, but now is solved.

Thanks to all who replied to my message!

I'm on June 16th build. Works fine for me.

Try to register the same finger 5 times (max number of fingerprints you can register). This gives it more accuracy.
