Hello UMi'ers,
I'm glad to say I've already received my UMi Super on Monday, and I've spent my last days happily setting and customizing it.
4 days later, I'm now ready to talk more about my experience.

I'm amazed with the screen (beautiful colors and great display), build quality and looks (premium design), performance (both gaming, wi-fi, bluetooth and data connectivity are pretty fast), speakers (not the best comparing to the most expensive smartphones on the market, but they do a really pretty good job and have good volume), skylight notification, fingerprint scanner ultra fast (nothing new here, I guess :b) and the fast charging + USB type C (which is a "great to have"). This and the price tag makes it a dream come true.

Mostly, I'm delighted and in love with Super, as I can't leave it more than 10 minutes "alone".

Now, there are some things where I'd like to see some improvement/fixes.

About the camera:
In my opinion, the camera's photos and videos have good quality overall. I'm not using the stock camera app (as I didn't find it that good) and I chose "Open Camera" as the substitute.
The main reason I didn't stick with the stock app was because there was a lot of lag while moving the camera, which affects video recording even more. I still get some lag with "Open Camera" app, mostly on low light places. I hope future updates can solve or, at least, reduce this.

About the battery:
I was expecting more of a 4000mAh battery, actually. I got a full day of setting, customizing, some browsing and listening to music. While that's not exactly bad, I got better performance with my former Xperia Z1, which had 3000mAh and lasted for 1,5/2 days. I know this can be fixed as I know too that Android version 6.0 has many issues that got corrected on the later version, including battery performance (which may be the main reason for these results).

Bluetooth and Wi-fi conflict:
I read something about this being one of the bugs that Marshmallow had on 6.0. After all the troubleshooting processes (factory reset being one of them, changing wi-fi channels and password security protocols), I still got this problem:
I simply can't use wi-fi while on a call with my bluetooth headset on. It's really frustrating, as it's a big part of my activities on every smartphone I owned. Maybe you know of a solution for this, and if so, I accept all the suggestions.

Some small tweaks:
With Android, there is so much customization, and that's one of the reasons that makes me prefer Android devices.
One of the things I couldn't customize, though, was the call screen (the one that shows up during a call or when someone is calling). I know this is usual behavior, but what I would like to have is a better looking call screen, like displaying the contact photo and changing the wallpaper for a non gradient style.
Some other tweaks I would like to get would be wake up screen with double tap (which would make it easier to unlock when we don't have access to the fingerprint scanner), more customization options for the smart key (double click, long press, etc.) and for the skylight notification (lack of white color, for example).

I hope I'll get some help about the battery issue, and I hope you consider my experience/wishes.
Congratulations for the great device,
Hugo

Dear Hugo,

Thank you for your feedback and congratulations.
The issues related to the camera and battery performance are reported by many users already and the developers are continuously working on processing improvements. A new FOTA update is expected in a few days.
Yes, the Bluetoth - WiFi conflict is a Marshmallow issue that affects many different devices. In UMi Super you can make it better by disabling Bluetooth scanning. Go to Settings and start tor search for Scanning, then select that from the list and disable Bluetooth scanning. As a probable effect, the WiFi connection will work properly if you use your BT headset for media playing or if it's just simply connected to your smartphone. You will still experience a huge drop at WiFi speed while making phone calls through a BT headset. Connecting to a WiFi router at 5.0GHz will completely bypass this issue since in that case the BT and WiFi receiver won't share the same frequency band.
The call screen should show the callers photo if it's available. In the Contacts settings (3-dot button at the top right corner) Contacts to display menu check your google account(s) only, not all contacts, and try again. Wallpaper changing won't be available there.
The double tap to wake-up function (the whole Smart Wake menu) has been removed intentionally by the developers since it caused random screen wake-ups. If the issues get resolved, that feature will be added again.
for customizing the buttons, please check the following thread: http://community.umidigi.com/thread-3289-1-1.html
That's about UMi Touch but the two phones run the same Android version.

Sincerely,
Bence

First of all, I would like to thank you for your answer and support. It's truly appreciated. I'm glad to see some effort from UMi!

About the bluetooth/wifi problem: I've made those procedures before, and I still can't use wifi while on a call with my bluetooth headset on. Unfortunately, my present router only has 2.4GHz frequency, which makes 5.0GHz is not an option for me right now.
Is there anything UMi can do to fix this bug or are there any plans on updating Android version to 6.0.1 or any later version that has a fix for this?

About the call screen, I have only checked google account in the first hand, so, it must be my problem. But now knowing it should be displaying the caller's photo is a relief already! I'll try to fix it by myself. If you have any recommendation to help me with this, I'll be grateful.

Thanks again for the support,
Hugo

Bumping for answer...

I reported the BT/WiFi issue to the engineers and they will look into this problem. I can't give you a useful answer at the moment. Although UMi Touch suffers from the same issue, you're the first user who reported it (nobody about UMi Touch), so it's probably such an issue that affects a very few users. I mean just a very little amont of users browsing through a WiFi network while making phone calls using a BT heaset/hands free. Such issues reported by many users have priority.
an Android 6.01 update is not planned as far as I know but that case can change in the future. That mostly depends on MediaTek.
If a callers picture is visible in the contacts list, it should appear on the in-call screen as well. You don't have to apply any specific settings about that. You can try to reflash the whole software of your phone but that method wipes your user data.
