Screen Protector

I love the Matte screen protector that comes with the phone - it even has all the holes in the right places (ie, for sensor, speaker and camera)....but it has the logo in the middle of the screen!! I don't understand why they bothered with the cut out holes if it was meant to be unusable as a screen protector. Have a missed somethign here?

I figured.... But just curious as to why they web HT to the trouble of the cut outs!!

It's too protect the screen in transit.

Yes, the Matte screen protector just used for protecting the screen and back case during the shipping period.

It's less trouble than having a scratch on the screen with possible returns.

Please don't get me wrong, I am not making a complaining or moaning, i was just making a comment. I understand the concept of a 'in transit' protector, but i was just commenting on why go to the trouble of having all the correct holes for the camera etc if it was not meant to stay on. Please feel free to close this thread and I am not looking for any comments - i was just making a tongue in cheek observation.

Just to give you a final resolution.
1. the same cutting machine does the job, so that would be more costly to reprogram the machine for cutting the matte cover without holes.
2. Candidates can try out the phone at the shop (or resellers before sending it out) without removing the protector cover.
