Not given it a go with my sim card yet, sounds strange but i have been looking at the ROM features and trying to work out whats missing in comparrison to cyanogenmod.
There are a couple of things i would like to do but there is so little information on this phone at the moment its making things difficult.

* Install TWRP
* What ROM versions are available , MIUI 7 , Cyanogenmod ?

Also another feature i would like is the AudioFx that cyanogen includes on their builds for the OnePlus One , as when compared to the OPO the sound is not as rich ( i blame the equalizer )

What are you finding frustrating about the phone so far ? something needs to be posted with all the bugs and irritations so UMI can provide a fix.

I'm coming from a Oneplus one as well. Have passed it on to the wife!

So far I'm liking the phone. Camera is OK for me. GPS has worked well on two short trips. Battery is holding out well and charges very fast.

Biggest frustration is the 4g issue. It is finding 4g networks but the strength of the signal is weak meaning it either drops or doesn't connect at all. My wife and I are both on 3 UK so I sat the Opo and the super side by side with a signal analyzer running. I went to a spot high in my house where the super stays connected. The signal was considerably weaker on the super.

The 3g signal is also weaker too.

I'm hoping this is an issue that can be fixed. If not I'll be sending it back. I use data a lot for work so slow connections and dropping signals aren't good for me.

I'll throw up a video comparing the signals over the weekend.

The Oneplus is my daily driver at the moment until i have fixed a few issues with this UMI Super. I have managed to change the size of the icons using nova launcher makes nice an smaller neat looking.The problems i am facing so far is the sound equalizer, it is not as good as the OPO AudioFx ( i need to find a way to change this)

Oh also did you have a problem with the MicroSd card when you inserted it, something about the speed of the card not being fast ?

Glad i found someone from the UK that speaks english on this forum haha.

Had an Opo from not long after launch date. I'm trying to remind myself that it was pretty dodgy back then! I'm hoping these issues can be sorted but something like a signal issue seems more like a hardware issue

I too have dumped my OPO in favor of UMI Super. I changed the LCD density to 400 using adb before root was available. I don't have any issues with 4G signal here in Australia.

I had the OPO on the launch date too, i remember thinking that im not going to like this ( size, bootloops, touch screen issue)
I will do some testing on this with speed as i am also with 3uk we can have a comparrison on speeds.

How are you finding the battery charge rate ? - i plugged the charger in and it didnt feel as fast as i thought it would be ( ill measure the difference somehow)

I thought it was pretty good. Charge seemed much quicker than Opo to me. A wee timer on the lock screen like the opo would be good.

Looking forward to hearing how you find signal on 3.

Using ADB ? how did you manage to get that working  ( can you post a mini guide somewhere ? )
having the LCD density changed would greatly help making that 5.5" screen look better.
