some tips:
1. Clean your camera lens cover
2. Focus by touching the screen on a certain point
3. Hold your hands

Those pictures are great. Similar to jasonx3 i was never able to obtain such quality of pictures.
bencebacsi  can you please post precise camera settings for those pictures? Do you use stock camera application? Did you use monopod for stabilization or were they taken with your hand?



On the contrary - here is a picture of my couch taken with quite intense room light . The red spot in the middle is unacceptable. This is the best picture at this conditions that i was able to acquire.
For your information - the couch is of grey colour.

Pictures taken with Huawei p8 lite in the same exact conditions resulted with sharp edges and absolutly no red spot in the middle of screen.

Indeed these pictures look more what should be expected but mine are comparable to my 2002 Canon Ixus 330 which had 2.1 megapixels. It is really digital grainy and compressed. This is what most people have I presume who have been complaining here.

So it appears somewhere then maybe a software setting? Compression or sharpness bit stuck?

You can read out from the EXIF info, that I used the stock camera app. All settings on auto (anti-shake is off) and I just shot from hands. You also can see that in the EXIF info, the longest exposure time was 1/100 second that's quite enough fast to take a sharp photo without a stand.
If you shoot in a semi-dark room, where you get an 1/20 second or even lower exposure time value due to the insufficient illumination, that's impossible to take a sharp photo. The camera software will gain the signal (causing more noise) but your photo will be still blurry as well.
However, these are the basics of photographing, not a specific issue of this device. Photographing needs light.
#liske123: Your shared pic is not an original camera photo (low res + no EXIF), so I can neither look into its settings nor identify its source.

\n\nThis indeed is basics of photographing. That's why for comparison i mentioned that on different device - huawei p8 lite - picture quality was far more better in the same conditions and no red dotting occured. When i get home i will upload pictures for comparison.

Bencebacsi - please inform me how can export photos with EXIF, then i will upload pic with additional data.
