Third OTA Update Arrived for UMi TOUCH

Android 6.0 Marshmallow is the latest upgrade from Google, facing the same problem as other smartphones with Marshmallow version, the first bunch of UMi TOUCH is expected to be unstable compared to Lollipop ROMs. However, UMi the company promised that they will keep release ROMs to fix this problem from Google, install available from OTA.

After the first OTA update, UMi collect the feedback of users , then release the Second OTA Update for the best user experience!

The upgrade number UMITOUCH.V3.03_20160415 brings us:

• Solve the problem of the third-party software is unable to debug camera
• Solve the ocasional problem of fingerprint unlock
• Update Wallpaper
  
  

To recall UMi TOUCH features a front fingerprint scanner, 5.5-inch FHD display with 2.5D glass and octa-core processor. There will be 3GB of RAM on board and 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable via MicroSD. At the back, there will be a 13MP Sony IMX328 camera and a 4000mAh battery. The phone supports 4G LTE networks and dual SIM dual standby. As for software, the phone comes with the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow build.

How to install via OTA?

Simply go to “Setting” -> “About phone” - > “Wireless update” - > “Check for updates” - > Update -> Done

We are encouraging the first bunch of UMi TOUCH users to upgrade this latest ROM for better experience. The forthcoming firmware is also on the way to optimise more detail

tried it three Times..always ended in the recovery

Not enough free Space on /system
Update.zip is not correct
Installation aborted

OTA failed.. Please Power Off

This may seems like a obvious question but have you check that you have enough space in your phone?
because error says  "Not enough free Space on /system"

try clearing some space and try again?

8gb of internal Memory left.. Should bei enough for Update

Hi. I solved the space error by making clear cache from recovery before upgrading.

Hello since 3.03 I can no longer set up my exchange account (cannot connect to server while third party programs can, such as Outllok or Mailwise). I didn't have the problem after the 1st OTA.

Wifi is also very unstable also but since the first version of the rom (WPA/2 AES)

When I want to upgrade when I press install now application crashes and stops... I cleared chache and did factory reset, but no way I can fix that...

Dear,Did you update the FOTA on your phone with the SD card inside?
