Hey everyone!
Did anybody saw the post, Umi made last weekend on Facebook?

According to that post, the newest Version of Rootjoy should support the Umi Emax Mini and make it possible to install Flyme OS.  (not the best OS, I saw some tests of it.)
Did anybody test that or does anybody have more information about that topic?

Best regards, Flat

Hi Flat,

You can download some custom ROMs with Rootjoy but still can't install them with it. To get them installed, you have to follow this quite complicated process. No other ways are available yet.

Sincerely,
Bence

Thats just what I thought, but I had some hope, that this could be the first step from Umi to support the eMax Mini.

Sad, but thanks for your fast answer. In that case, I think you can close this thread

In fact, Rootjoy is a customized (for UMI) third party app that's created for MediaTek SoC based smartphones. However, the eMAX Mini - as the only such model at UMI - is built with a Snapdragon processor, so I'm afraid, this project is condemned to failure.
I can leave this thread open for further posts.

Sorry, but this one here is an international forum, so we use English language - that's foreign for me too. I can't even understand your words if I translate them with google translator.  Post time 2016-3-30 22:13

Dear, Yes, as Bencebacsi said, the umi eMax Mini can only been upgraded by this method at present: http://community.umidigi.com/for ... peid%26typeid%3D104
