Will we see another update to the F1?

1. Call volume is a bit on the low side with some people reporting their phone being inaudible at crowded locations regardless of settings.

2. The camera needs more options like f.ex. locking focus and light. Video shooting suffers from bright/dark sudden shifting. Focus needs a lot of attention unless it´s hardware restricted, I am finding it hard to get the camera to focus on close objects, reading QR codes is a pain. Overall, the camera really needs attention.

I totally agree. This is my 5th Umidigi phone and actually.....the worst in regards to issues. Phone went into MUTE everytime I made a phonecall, as the proximity sensor did not work as well as it was impossible to calibrate it with the Umidigi software. So I loaded another app and that did the job. The camera is rubbish, to say the least. As you mention, poor focussing and in whatsapp, the camera zooms in as well as off centres (mentioned in another topic here).
Not happy......

I'm one of the users who got a "low volume" unit. To be honest I'm about to return it, because, let's be clear, this is a phone, with many other features, but first and foremost a phone, and what's the use of a phone that can't be used to make calls? or that needs another device, like a headset to function properly?

Regarding the camera, I have to admit I'm far from an expert because rarely take pics with phone other than simply for fun, and, as long as they are in focus, I'm fine with them.

Hi, Yes, the F1 will get at least one more update but we can't promise to add new features to the camera. You can use any third party camera app like Open Camera to enjoy a higher amount of features and settings.

Umidigi F1 is a great phone. As for updates, I'd just like to tune the camera. In good light and at night the photos are nice, but in the shade I've to make a correction manually, and in addition one degree is sometimes too much.

Great advice.

Just went to their latest Facebook post and essentially Hijacked it with a quick report of the problems with the F1.

Maybe we should go there just to confirm the problems and see if someone at Umidigi takes action.

Yes, they sent me the bug report link too.. and instead of doing that, i pointed them to this forum.
